A Quick Hello!

Still do not have a great internet situation but I wanted to get this info out to those of you who read this blog. We are all doing fine here in Togo, the girls like it more than Ghana so that is a good thing, it does not seem as hot here. Funny thing is we are only 18 miles from Ho, Ghana and it seems much cooler. We now have a cell phone, so if you want to call us you can. Just keep in mind the time difference. If you call us after 7:00 p.m. we will likely be in bed. It is free for us if you call us but quite expensive for us to call you. So it is up to you, if you want to call us please do. If you do you will need to dial 011-228-734-1558. That is all I have time for at this time. we look forward to hearing from some of you.

Such is the strength of the ant's jaws, in East Africa they are used as natural, emergency sutures. Various East African indigenous tribal peoples, e.g. Maasai moran), when they suffer a gash in the bush, will use the soldiers to stitch the wound, by getting the ants to bite on both sides of the gash, then breaking off the body. This seal can hold for days at a time, and if necessary, the procedure repeated - allowing sufficient time for natural healing to commence

Okay Gary, looked up driver ants and had to copy this for you after I saw that you got bit by them. Sounds like an adventure!
So awesome to hear about 100% Glad to hear that it is cooler now, we are still waiting for it to get as warm as it is sunny here :)
Hope all is well, the family looks great. Love hearing about all your adventures. Isn't serving the Lord interesting!
God bless,

Hi Lyndsey! This is Kaylashae,Thank you for the pictures on the blog.I am wondering if you could answer some questions for me. How is the food,is it tough sometimes, are the people nice,is it fun?I feel bad for the people there. I mean, some people have lost some family members. Could you amagine having one of your family members die,it would be pretty hard. Right now I am doing a cartoon for school. The best part about 4th grade is not school! I am not liking school. The favorite part of my day is not doing homework. I like science in class we are reading a book called "Ringo", about a boy from China. Our last day of school is June 9th. We are going to the Piqua historical society on May 13th for a fieldtrip. We have 6 chickens at our house. 1 is a rooster and 5 are hens. We have a fox living near us and it is scary because he comes out during the day. I am afraid that he will eat our chickens. Have you ever heard of chicken saddles?

Do you have any requests or praises that you would like us to pray about? Would you pray for our chickens?
Talk to you later. By!
